Nicky Orphans Support Centre was founded in 2025 in Kiryandongo District, Uganda, out of a shared vision to bring hope to children who had lost parents or were living in vulnerable conditions.
Many of our founders grew up in humble families and personally experienced challenges such as lack of food, school fees, clothing, and healthcare. From these struggles came the determination to build a support system that ensures no child has to go through the same hardships.
Today, Nicky Orphans Support Centre is a registered NGO working to transform lives by providing education, healthcare, mentorship, and basic needs to orphans and vulnerable children.
To support orphaned and vulnerable children through access to education, healthcare, and mentorship, fostering dignity and
long-term growth and to create safe space and opportunities for vulnerable children by partnering with communities, caregivers and donors, ensuring sustainable impact.
To create a world where every orphaned and vulnerable child thrives in a safe, loving, and empowered environment.
To provide the orphans and the vulnerable children with basic needs among which include food, water, clothes, beddings and playing materials.
To put in the orphans and vulnerable children an inner confidence through guidance and counselling, tutorials and exposure to outside communities.
To support the academic journey of the orphans and vulnerable children through paying school fees, providing for scholastic materials and continuous interactions.
To train up great leaders of the future through participation in the leadership congress, taking up leadership positions at various levels and routine debate competitions.
To raise up God fearing and well-mannered children. This will be done through having prayer sessions on weekends which will majorly help on impacting morals.
To fully support a girl child to grow with self-respect, self-confidence and a sound mind through distribution of pads, interactions with experienced women and guidance and counselling.
To nurture a child in all areas of life including co-curricular activities (games and sports), social, economic, political, mental and physical behaviours.
To promote a green environment through conservation activities like tree planting, grass protection plus other necessary methods applicable.
